FENTEC strengthens its management team – Kimmo Pyykönen appointed CEO effective 7 January 2026

Kimmo Pyykönen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of FENTEC Oy, effective 7 January 2026. He brings 20 years of broad experience in industrial leadership and business development, as well as a strong track record in driving growth in international technology companies. He has previously held management positions, including at Sandvik Mining and Construction, Tamturbo Oy and Lumikko Oy.

FENTEC’s CEO from 2020 to 2025, Jari Kinnunen, will continue with the company as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for innovation and product development.

Christer Härkönen, Chairman of the Board at FENTEC, views the appointment as a key strategic step.

Incoming CEO Kimmo Pyykönen sees FENTEC as well positioned for its next stage of development.
